Competition: Serie A

Market: AC Milan win

Odds: 3/5 @ 888sport

Hoping to widen their buffer at the top of the La Liga table on Friday evening, AC Milan will welcome Udinese to the San Siro.

Starting with the hosts, while AC Milan might still be holding a two-point buffer at the top of the Serie A table, they’re coming off the back of a downbeat display. Missing out on what they thought was a golden chance away at Salernitana and having to settle for a 2-2 draw, the Italian giants will be seeking an immediate response on Friday evening. Despite that blip last weekend, the Rossoneri should still find the mood in their camp at a real high. With their sights firmly set on clinching their first domestic crown since 2011, it should be highlighted that AC Milan have lost just a single matchup across all formats since December 19th. Managing to pick up eye-catching victories against the likes of Lazio, Roma and defending champions Inter Milan, Friday’s hosts should be smelling a chance here.

As for the visitors, managing to snatch a 1-1 draw against European contenders Lazio last weekend, Udinese will be desperate to build off of those positives when they travel to the San Siro here. However, still holding just a three-point buffer over the drop zone and still looking over their shoulder, the Bianconeri have managed to win just one of their previous seven matchups across all formats. With their recent issues highlighted by a 4-0 drumming at the hands of Verona earlier in the month, caretaker boss Gabriele Cioffi will know that his temporary squad should face an overwhelming test on Friday evening. Gaining a reputation for their issues on the road and with just a single away victory to their name since September 12th, it is hard to see anything other than a home win for the title chasers here.
