Competition: League One

Market: Bolton double chance

Odds: 1/2 @ 888sport

Looking to extend on what has become a hugely impressive run of form, a high-flying Burton will make the trip to the Pirelli Stadium on Tuesday night.

Starting with the hosts, throwing away the lead twice at home against Cambridge over the weekend and eventually having to settle for a 2-2 draw, Burton find themselves in the midst of a recent struggle. Once again spending the majority of this season battling it out in the bottom-half of the table, Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink’s men have now managed to win just one of their last five matchups across all formats. Suffering back-to-back defeats against Portsmouth and Sheffield United earlier in the month, the one-time Chelsea striker has also seen his side gain a recent reputation for their inconsistencies at the Pirelli Stadium. Collecting just a pair of points from their last four League One matchups on home soil, it’s also worth highlighting that Burton have recorded just a single victory in Staffordshire since November 27th.

As for the visitors, while Bolton might find themselves in an uphill battle to clinch a play-off spot this season, the Trotters are enjoying a real purple patch recently. Last seen over the weekend picking up an action-packed 3-2 win away at Oxford United, Ian Evatt’s side have skyrocketed their way up the League One standings. Building off of their 2-1 victory against Charlton on February 8th, the former Premier League outfit are enjoying a seven-match unbeaten run, recording six wins. With their recent stellar run highlighted by that remarkable 6-0 romp against Sunderland last month, Bolton will be desperate to lay down another marker here. Enjoying what has become their most fruitful spell of the campaign, an away double chance certainly appears at attractive odds on Tuesday night.

Bet: Bolton double chance against Burton 1/2 for Tuesday’s League One battle @ 888sport
