Competition: Scottish Cup Final

Market: Both teams to score

Odds: 8/11 @ 1xBet

With the Old Firm rivals meeting on Saturday afternoon, this year’s Scottish Cup trophy will be up for grabs when Celtic and Rangers meet at Hampden.

Starting with Celtic, while Brendan Rodgers might have found plenty of pressure on his shoulders this season, the Hoops have made more domestic history. Defending their Premiership crown and continuing to shine over the past few months, the former Leicester boss is within touching distance of completing another domestic sweep. Last seen signing off the 2023/24 campaign with an action-packed 3-2 victory against St. Mirren, the Scottish giants have won all of their previous seven appearances across all competitions. Extending on their Scottish Cup adventure last month as they edged past Aberdeen thanks to a nail-bitting penalties victory, Celtic have certainly found a major clinical edge in the final third. Along with storming their way to a 5-0 romp away at Kilmarnock on May 15th, Rodgers’ men have notched 21 goals on their seven-match winning run. Likewise, it should also be highlighted, the Hoops have notched at least a pair of strikes in all of their last 11 domestic matchups across all formats.

As for Rangers, while the Blues might have opened up the New Year in the midst of a real purple patch, Philippe Clement’s men will have been disappointed by a potential missed opportunity. Eventually finishing eight points adrift of reclaiming their Scottish crown, the former Monaco boss saw his side win just a trio of their final eight Premiership appearances – a run that stems back to a 3-1 victory against Hibernian on March 30th. Last seen signing off the 2023/24 campaign with a dramatic late collapse away at Hearts as they had to settle for an action-packed 3-3 stalemate, Rangers have also continued to show some rather glaring defensive issues. Including a 2-1 loss when they last met their arch-rivals on May 11th, Clement’s side have failed to muster a single clean sheet from any of their previous five showdowns against Premiership opposition. With all of the last three meetings between Saturday’s finalists finishing with both teams finding the net, we are expecting a similar outcome here.

Bet: Both teams to score at Celtic vs Rangers 8/11 for Saturday’s Scottish Cup Final @ 1xBet
