Bitesize Prediction: Coventry vs Norwich – 21/01/23

Competition: Championship

Market: Norwich draw no bet

Odds: 10/11 @ 888sport

Hoping to claim back-to-back Championship victories on Saturday lunchtime, Norwich will make the trip to Coventry.

Starting with the hosts, suffering late heartbreak away at a high-flying Burnley last weekend as they eventually slumped to a 1-0 loss, Coventry are enduring an extended wobble. Crashing out of the FA Cup earlier in the month thanks to an action-packed 4-3 loss against National League outfit Wrexham, there could be some growing pressure on Mark Robins’ shoulders. Freefalling their way out the top-half of the Championship table, the Blues have claimed just a single victory from any of their last eight straight matchups across all formats. With that run stemming all the way back to November 12th, Coventry are also in the midst of a five-match winless run. Almost sat in Championship limbo, Robins will know that his side could face another tricky test here. It should be noted, when the two sides last faced off back on September 3rd, Coventry were hit with a 3-0 drumming.

As for the visitors, making the decision to appoint ex-Huddersfield boss David Wagner earlier in the month, Norwich certainly got the 51-year-old’s tenure off to a flying start. Eventually breezing their way to a 4-0 romp away at Preston last weekend, the Canaries will now be hoping to find some stability in 2023. Sat two points adrift of breaking into the play-off places and still dreaming of securing an immediate Premier League return, Saturday’s guests will now be hoping to secure back-to-back Championship victories for the first time since September. However, securing that 3-0 victory when they welcomed Coventry to Carrow Road back on September 3rd, they do hold a rampant record against the second-tier strugglers. Unbeaten in each of their last nine straight showdowns and clinching three victories on the spin, we’re backing an away draw no bet here.

Bet: Norwich draw no bet against Coventry 10/11 for Saturday’s Championship battle @ 888sport
