In an all-Premier League battle on Saturday afternoon, Leicester and Watford will turn their attention to FA Cup duties when they meet at the King Power.

Starting with the hosts, while Leicester might have struggled with their consistency this season, there is no doubt that the Foxes will be boosted with the way that they signed off 2021. Despite having their New Year’s Day contest get scrapped, Brendan Rodgers’ side were last seen on December 28th landing a 1-0 win against Liverpool on home soil. Looking to keep up that momentum when they turn their attention to FA Cup duties on Saturday afternoon, the one-time Watford boss has at least seen his side continue to impress at the King Power. Including an action-packed 4-2 win when they hosted the relegation scrappers back in November, it should be noted that Leicester have won each of their last four home fixtures across all formats. Despite being expected to make a host of changes here, the Foxes rightfully open as a standout pick.

As for the visitors, last seen on New Year’s Day when getting hit with a last-gasp 1-0 defeat against Tottenham, Watford find themselves in the midst of a real struggle. Still holding just a two-point buffer from slipping into the drop zone, the Hornets are tipped by many as a standout pick to be hit with an immediate Championship return. With former Leicester hero Claudio Ranieri coming under real scrutiny in the capital, Watford are in the midst of a six-match losing run. Also on the wrong end of 4-1 and 2-1 losses against West Ham and Brentford last month, Saturday’s guests will know that they face another huge task here. Suffering that 4-2 loss when they made the trip to the King Power back on Premier League duties in November, we’re backing a similar home win this weekend.
