Competition: FA Cup

Market: QPR win

Odds: 6/5 @ 888sport

Looking to extend on their FA Cup adventure this weekend, QPR will make the trip to fellow Championship outfit Peterborough on Saturday afternoon.

Starting with the hosts, last seen putting in another worrying display, Peterborough once again find themselves in a battle to maintain on their Championship status. Still sat two points adrift of safety in England’s second-tier and with many tipping them to suffer an immediate League One return, the Posh have collected just a single point from any of their last five matchups against Championship opposition. Suffering a deserved 2-0 defeat at home against Sheffield United last time out, Darren Ferguson’s men have shown a host of issues at both ends of the pitch. With their recent issues highlighted by a thumping 4-1 loss at the hands of Coventry last month, Peterborough also have just a pair of wins to their name since way back on October 23rd. Turning their attention back to FA Cup duties here, the Blues could be bracing themselves for another tough test.

As for the visitors, while Peterborough might find themselves battling it out at the foot of the Championship table, QPR have only continued on a remarkable run of form this season. Continuing to gain a host of plaudits and sat in pole position to at least clinch a play-off spot, Mark Warburton’s men were also last seen landing a 4-0 romp against Reading on home soil. in fact, the one-time Rangers boss finds his side in the midst of a seven-match unbeaten run across all formats, a run that stems back to the end of December. Shipping just a single goal in any of their last four outings, there is no doubt that a high-flying QPR will be looking to keep up that momentum this weekend. Riding a real wave and looking to extend on their FA Cup adventure here, an away win on Saturday afternoon can be found at attractive odds.
