As for the visitors, while Botafogo might have opened up the 2024 campaign with their sights set on mounting a genuine play-off charge, the Panthers are in the midst of a major struggle. With their recent issues underlined by a 4-0 drumming at the hands of Goias on May 18th, Tuesday’s guests have also continued to show some glaring struggles in the final third. In fact, Botafogo have remarkably failed to notch a single strike in any of their last five Serie B outings.
