Competition: Brazil Serie B

Market: Vitoria draw no bet

Odds: 21/20 @ Pribet

Already securing their Serie A return with time to spare, Vitoria will welcome Sport Recife to the Barradao on Saturday night.

Starting with the hosts, while Vitoria might have only made their Serie B return this season, Leo Conde’s side are in the midst of a history-making fairytale. Already wrapping up top spot with time to spare and punching their top-flight return with a major statement of intent, the Bahia-based outfit will certainly have a real party atmosphere in their camp this weekend. Last seen extending on their record-breaking romp as they secured a 2-1 win away at Novorizontino, the former Goias boss will simply be calling on his high-flying squad to lay down another marker in front of their own supporters. A huge part of Vitoria’s success this season has certainly been thanks to their remarkable purple patch on home soil. In fact, Vitoria have not lost any of their previous 12 straight showdowns at the Barradao across all formats – a run that stems all the way back to June 11th. Picking up a 2-1 win when they met Saturday’s guests for their reverse meeting back on July 20th, Conde’s men are seeking a repeat performance here.

As for the visitors, while Sport Recife might open this weekend’s fixtures sat just a single point adrift of breaking into the promotion places, the Lions are in the midst of an extended rut. Last seen putting in a toothless performance as they eventually had to settle for a 0-0 stalemate at home against Atletico GO, Enderson Moreira’s side have won just one of their previous seven Serie B appearances – a run that stems back to September 24th. Along with opening November with back-to-back 2-1 defeats against Mirassol and Ceara, the one-time Fluminense boss will have a massive headache over his side’s continued issues on the road. In fact, Sport Recife have mustered just a single victory on their travels since the start of August. Hit with that 2-1 loss when they welcomed Vitoria to town back on July 20th and winning just one of their last six showdowns against the Serie B champions, we are backing a home draw no bet here.

Bet: Vitoria draw no bet against Sport Recife 21/20 for Saturday’s Brazil Serie B battle @ Pribet
