Bitesize Prediction: Watford vs West Ham – 28/12/21

Competition: Premier League

Market: Both teams to score

Odds: 8/11 @ 888sport

Watching their top-four dreams take another hit over the weekend, West Ham will make the trip to relegation scrappers Watford on Tuesday afternoon.

Starting with the hosts, dealing with a COVID-19 outbreak in their camp last week, Watford will now be desperate to find some kind of boost when they return to action here. Last seen way back on December 12th when getting hit with a last-gasp 2-1 defeat away at Brentford, the Hornets are once again at the heart of a relegation scrap. While Claudio Ranieri’s men might have stunned many across the Premier League with a 4-1 romp against Manchester United last month, the former Leicester boss has seen his side lose each of their last four top-flight contests. In fact, mustering just three points since October 23rd, Watford have gained a reputation for their lively outcomes. It should be noted, Tuesday’s guests have seen each of their last five Premier League matchups finish with both teams finding the net.

As for the visitors, putting in what was another nightmare display over the weekend, West Ham find themselves in the midst of a real struggle. Eventually hit with a 3-2 defeat against Southampton in east London on Boxing Day afternoon, David Moyes’ men have won just one of their last seven Premier League matchups. Crashing out of the EFL Cup thanks to a 2-1 loss against rivals Tottenham last week, the one-time Manchester United boss has seen his side collect just a single point from any of their last five contests across all formats. Dealing with a host of injury issues, the Hammers have really struggled to fill the void left by Kurt Zouma and Angelo Ogbonna. With each of the last three meetings between Tuesday’s opponents finishing with both teams finding the net, we’re backing a similar outcome here.

Bet: Both teams to score at Watford vs West Ham 8/11 for Tuesday’s Premier League battle @ 888sport
