Competition: A-League

Market: Nicolas Milanovic to score anytime

Odds: 13/8 @ BetUS

Looking to make it consecutive A-League victories on Saturday morning, Western Sydney will welcome Brisbane to the CommBank Stadium.

Starting with the hosts, making an immediate return to winning ways last time out as they signed off November with a stellar 2-0 victory away at Melbourne City, Western Sydney will be looking to use that performance as a platform to build on. Heading into November’s fortnight interval with a season-best display as they claimed a 4-1 romp against the Newcastle Jets, Alen Stajcic’s side will now be hoping to find a route into the play-off places. Hoping to secure consecutive A-League victories for the first time since the start of April, attacking talisman Nicolas Milanovic will have a leading role to play on Saturday morning. Converting from the penalty spot away at Melbourne City a fortnight ago, the 23-year-old is leading the chase in this season’s A-League Golden Boot chase. Bagging a sensational hat-trick against the Jets last month, Milanovic has now notched five goals in just his last four appearances.

As for the visitors, spending the whole of last season battling it out at the foot of the A-League table, Brisbane appear destined for another public struggle this time around. Last seen putting in another nightmare performance as they slumped to a 4-1 drumming at home against Melbourne City, the Roar have continued to show a string of glaring issues since opening up the new campaign. Getting proceedings underway with a 2-0 loss at the hands of Auckland on October 19th, Saturday’s guests have put just a single point on the board from any of their first six A-League appearances. Opening this weekend’s fixtures sat rock-bottom of the table, Brisbane have continued to gain a reputation for their glaring defensive struggles. Marking their return from November’s international break with an action-packed 3-2 defeat against Adelaide, Ruben Zadkovich’s side have already conceded 18 A-League strikes so far this season.

Bet: Nicolas Milanovic to score anytime against Brisbane Roar 13/8 for Saturday’s A-League battle @ BetUS
