Competition: Irish First Division

Market: Both teams to score

Odds: 5/6 @ 1xBet

Looking to find a route into the play-off places, Wexford will welcome Treaty United to Ferrycarrig Park on Thursday night.

Starting with the hosts, mounting a dramatic late comeback at home against Longford last week as they eventually snatched a 2-2 stalemate, Wexford will be looking to use that last-gasp flurry as a platform to build on. However, while the Youths might still be dreaming of the chance to secure another play-off ticket this season, James Keddy’s men are looking to find some much-needed stability. Signing off May with a 2-1 defeat at the hands of Bray, the Crossabeg-based outfit have mustered just a single victory from any of their previous eight consecutive First Division appearances. With that extended wobble stemming back to a 2-1 win away at Longford on April 27th, Keddy will certainly have a mounting headache over his side’s continued struggles at the back. Including an action-packed 3-2 defeat against UC Dublin, it should be noted that Wexford have recorded just a single First Division clean sheet from any of their 19 outings so far this season.

As for the visitors, managing to make an immediate return to winning ways last weekend as they secured a 2-0 victory at home against Bray, Treaty United will be hoping to make another statement here. Despite opening June with a 2-1 loss away at Kerry, the Super Blues have suffered just a single defeat from any of their previous five First Division appearances. With that run stemming back to a 2-1 defeat against Longford on May 13th, the Limerick-based outfit do appear to have turned a recent corner. However, last seen on their travels slumping to a 2-1 loss at the hands of Kerry, Treaty United have shown some extended issues away from Markets Field. Including a 3-2 defeat when they travelled to Ferrycarrig Park back on April 5th, Thursday’s guests have collected just two points from any of their last eight First Division showdowns on the road.

Bet: Both teams to score at Wexford vs Treaty United 5/6 for Thursday’s Irish First Division matchup @ 1xBet
