Competition: Spanish Segunda

Market: Zaragoza win

Odds: 19/20 @ 888sport

Looking to extend on what has become a recent purple patch, Zaragoza will host relegation scrappers Fuenlabrada on Friday night.

Starting with the hosts, while Zaragoza might almost find themselves sat in Segunda limbo, Los Maños should find the mood in their camp at a recent high. Hoping to try and find a route into the top-half of the table this weekend, Head Coach Juan Ignacio Martínez once again saw his side impress last time out. Claiming what was a deserved 2-0 victory at home against Almeria, they should be smelling another golden chance at the La Romareda here. In fact, Friday’s hosts have won each of their last three second-tier outings, bagging a pair of goals in each of those victories. With just a single Segunda defeat to their name since January 2nd, it should also be noted that Zaragoza are unbeaten in all four of their previous meeting against the relegation scrappers.

As for the visitors, while Zaragoza might be enjoying a real Segunda purple patch of late, the same cannot be said for a downbeat Fuenlabrada side. Last seen getting hit with a 2-1 loss at home against Burgos, the Blues find themselves in a real battle at the foot of the table. Making the trip to the La Romareda on Friday night sat seven points adrift of safety, Head Coach Sergio Pellicer will know that his side face another tough task here. Including signing off February with a 3-1 defeat against Almeria on the road, it should also be noted that the relegation scrappers have failed to win any of their last six outings. Likewise, without a Segunda win on the road since opening 2022, we’re backing a home victory here at attractive odds.

Bet: Zaragoza 19/20 to beat Fuenlabrada in Friday’s Spanish Segunda battle @ 888sport
