Kevin-Prince Boateng has once again made himself available for international selection with Ghana.

The Milan playmaker withdrew his services to Ghana in November 2011, claiming that the extra toll on his body brought on from international football was resulting in too many injuries.

However, the German-born 26-year-old, whose brother – Bayern Munich defender Jerome – does play for the country of their birth, has now made himself available again to coach Kwesi Appiah, according to Ghanaian Football Association president Kwesi Nyantakyi.

“Kevin-Prince Boateng had confirmed to the coach and my good self that he was coming back to play for us,” Nyantakyi told SuperSport.

“Let me confirm that before Kwesi Appiah selected his team for the Sudan game Kevin had told the coach and me that he was available for that game.

“Unfortunately, a week before that game, he picked up an injury during training with AC Milan but he told us that he would participate in the team’s games in June.”

Boateng made 37 appearances for Milan last term, scoring three goals.
