With it officially confirmed that Kylian Mbappe will be leaving PSG this summer, the French giants are getting ready for life after their attacking icon.

With the future Ballon d’Or winner now set to sign a record-breaking deal with Champions League finalists Real Madrid, Luis Enrique’s men are expected to save a fortune.

Suggested this week that PSG could be set to save in the region of €200million, the former Barcelona boss has also made it abundantly clear that the reigning Ligue 1 champions will be heavily active during this summer’s transfer window.

Ahead of what looks set to be a frantic summer behind the scenes in Paris, we have taken a look at who are the potential targets that could be set to replace Mbappe in the French capital.

Victor Osimhen – Napoli

With Napoli making real history last season as they got their hands on a first Serie A crown since 1990, a huge part of their charge for the record books was spearhead by the Azzurri’s striking superstar.

While the now-former Italian champions might have endured a public nightmare this season, Victor Osimhen has enjoyed another free-scoring flurry and is regarded as one of Europe’s elite marksmen.

Registering 15 Serie A goals this season, the Nigerian ace has also previously suggested that he is keen on securing what would be a blockbuster move away from the Stadio Diego Armando Maradona.

Despite it being suggested that Premier League giants Arsenal and Chelsea are both monitoring Osimhen’s situation it Naples, it was reported this week that PSG are sat in the driving seat.

With Enrique reportedly identifying the 35-cap international as the ideal man to come in and replace Mbappe, the ex-Barcelona boss is even willing to break the bank in order to get his man this summer.

Marcus Rashford – Manchester United

With it now appearing almost certain that Erik ten Hag will be removed from the Old Trafford dugout this summer, it has also been heavily suggested that a number of Manchester United’s first-team stars could also be pushed out of the exit.

Announced on Tuesday that former Real Madrid defender Raphael Varane will be leaving the Premier League giants when his contract expires next month, there has also been plenty of speculation over Marcus Rashford’s future in the red half of Manchester.

Although the England international might have only signed a bumper new contract extension last year, United’s homegrown superstar finds himself at the heart of an Old Trafford nightmare.

Dealing with a recent ankle injury and not making a single Premier League appearance since a 2-2 stalemate against Bournemouth on April 13th, the 26-year-old has also failed to find the net since returning from March’s international break.

With it reported that United are keen on getting Rashford’s £325,000-per-week wages off their books, there has been plenty of speculation over the past few months that PSG are keen on reigniting their interest this summer.

Bernardo Silva – Manchester City

Although Bernardo Silva might have eventually made the decision to stay put at Manchester City last summer, it appears that the Portuguese playmaker could finally complete a move away from the Etihad this time around.

While the one-time Monaco starlet might have played a leading role as City got their hands on a maiden Champions League crown last year, there has been plenty of speculation that Silva is keen on starting a new adventure.

Despite signing a new contract extension with Pep Guardiola’s side last year, it has been suggested that there was a £50million release clause inserted and it becomes active this summer.

Although it might have been heavily suggested over the past year that Barcelona are sat in pole position to snap up Silva’s signature, PSG have remained a long-time admirer and are keen on striking a potential cut-price deal.

While Silva might have made it clear that his sole focus is on helping City claim an historic fourth consecutive Premier League crown this week, ESPN are reporting that the French giants have placed the 29-year-old at the top of their summer wishlist.
