Competition: Irish Premier Division

Market: Bohemians win

Odds: 3/4 @ 888sport

With a golden opportunity to make it four wins on the bounce, a high-flying Bohemians will make the trip to Finn Park on Saturday afternoon.

Starting with the hosts, while Finn Harps might have managed to pick up a much-needed morale boost in the shape of a close-fought 1-0 win against St. Patrick’s in the FAI Cup earlier in the week, it does not cover what has been a dreadful start to the new campaign. Last seen on top-flight duties getting hit with a 2-0 defeat away at Richmond Park, Ollie Horgan’s men find themselves in the midst of a dreadful five-match Premier Division losing run and it is no surprise they look set to be at the heart of another relegation scrap. With their most recent problems highlighted by an extremely worrying 1-0 defeat at home against Premier Division returners Shelbourne earlier in the month, there is no doubt that Saturday’s hosts should be in for another long afternoon in Ballybofey this weekend.

As for the visitors, while the mood around Finn Park might remain at a real low, Bohemians will undoubtedly be boosted by what has been an eye-catching return from football’s enforced break. Really shocking many and putting in a very noteworthy display last week, Keith Long’s men picked up a deserved 2-1 win against defending champions Dundalk and have now landed back-to-back victories since returning to action. Already holding a five-point buffer from slipping out of the European positions and now winning their last three top-flight contests on the bounce either side of the break, Bohemians have conceded just a single goal in over 300 minutes of action and will be looking to make another statement in Ballybofey. Winning six of their last seven meetings against the struggling hosts, we’re backing a similar outcome this weekend.
