With their sights set on reclaiming their spot in the top-six, Bologna will welcome Genoa to the Stadio Renato Dall’Ara on Saturday evening.

Starting with the hosts, putting in what was another eye-catching display and grabbing a 3-2 win away at Champions League hopefuls Roma last week, Bologna have managed to find their form at what could be a crucial time. Now sat just a single point adrift of reclaiming their spot in the top-six, Siniša Mihajlović’s men have won their last three appearances on the bounce and have once again started to click in the final third. Including putting a trio of strikes past Roma at the Stadio Olimpico last time out, Bologna have scored eight goals on their winning run and should be confident of making another statement on home soil this weekend.

As for the visitors, while Genoa may have picked up what was a hard-fought 1-0 win over a struggling Cagliari last week, Davide Nicola’s men still find themselves sat three points adrift of safety. While I Rossoblù may have made some much-needed improvements over the past few weeks, there is no doubt that fans around Genova will be hugely concerned by their side’s issues on the road. Despite picking up hard-fought points away at Atalanta and Fiorentina, Genoa have remarkably failed to pick up a single Serie A victory on the road since opening the 2019/2020 campaign. With Bologna enjoying a remarkable turnaround, we’re backing a home victory this weekend.
