Bundesliga outfit Borussia Monchengladbach have confirmed on their website the signing of AS Nancy central midfielder Mickael Cuisance.
The talented 17-year-old French U18 international has signed a five-year deal with the German club and will remain with Monchengladbach until 2022. Cuisance will join his new club on 1 July 2017.
A product of Nancy’s youth academy, Cuisance has been the member of the French club’s U19 setup where his fine performances have alerted the German club over the past couple of months.
Borussia Monchengladbach scouts have been keeping close tabs on Cuisance for a long time now and were impressed with his versatility in the midfield.
Cuisance has been described as a promising talent who is expected to be given an opportunity to thrive in a competitive environment such as Bundesliga as of next season.
Monchengladbach are safely positioned in ninth place in the Bundesliga standings with 43 points to their name.
