Bristol City want Sessegnon

According to a recent report from Sky Sports, Bristol Ciy are closing on on the loan signing of Fulham star Steven Sessegnon.

The London club are aiming to balance their books ahead of their Premier League return, and part of that process will see them send youngster Sessegnon out on loan for the season. The Robins are believed to have beaten off a handful of other Championship clubs in the race to sign him, and with new boss Dean Holden planning on playing a 3-5-2 formation this season, Sessegnon would fit in perfectly as a fresh right wing-back.

The man himself will probably want to try his hand at life in the top flight, but given how badly the Cottagers messed it up last time, you’d have to imagine they’ll be thinking through every single step of the transfer window very carefully.

Plus, with City shooting for another promotion push, Sessegnon could prove to be integral.
