Bruno Fernandes 11/10 to score anytime against Fulham in Tuesday’s Premier League showdown

Competition: Premier League

Market: Bruno Fernandes to score anytime

Odds: 11/10 @ 888sport

Simply looking to make a return to winning ways on Tuesday evening, Manchester United will host an already relegated Fulham at Old Trafford in midweek.

Starting with the hosts, after coming off the back of those back-to-back defeats against Leicester and Liverpool last week, Manchester United should be glad to welcome fans back to Old Trafford in midweek. Wrapping up a top-four finish with time to spare and a Europa League final fast approaching, The Reds should be looking to land a real boost on Tuesday evening. Bagging the opening goal against Liverpool last time out, it is well worth keeping an eye out for attacking talisman Bruno Fernandes this week. Enjoying a standout campaign with the Premier League giants and firmly in the running for this year’s PFA Player of the Year award, the Portuguese playmaker has recorded 18 top-flight goals so far this season. In fact, it should also be noted that the former Sporting Lisbon star has four goals in his last five matchups across all formats.

As for the visitors, after having their immediate Championship return confirmed last week, it was another weekend to forget for a downbeat Fulham. While The Cottagers might have landed themselves that stunning 1-0 win away at Anfield back in March, Scott Parker’s side have rather drastically struggled to keep up that momentum. Facing what should be another stern test when they travel to Old Trafford in midweek, the former England midfielder saw his side get hit with a 3-1 defeat away at Southampton on Saturday lunchtime. More worrying, along with losing each of their last three Premier League contests on the spin, it should also be noted that Fulham have mustered themselves just a single top-flight point in any of their last eight straight matchups.
