(GSM) – Nicolas Burdisso is likely to stay at Internazionale as negotiations with Roma have failed.

Burdisso’s agent Fernando Hidalgo confirmed there was little prospect of the player staying at the Olimpico as the Romans fail to meet the €10 million fee.

However, Hidalgo remains believes a deal can still be agreed. Therefore, both clubs should restructure negotiations carefully.

“Burdisso is now an Inter player. An agreement was not found with Roma,” Hidalgo told Telelombardia.

“If both clubs change idea then they can give me a call.”

Burdisso spent last season on loan at Roma and coach Claudio Ranieri would like to keep him permanently, but Inter refuse to grant his wish.
