Burnley eye West Brom duo

The Mirror understands that Burnley are planning a £25m double raid on West Bromwich Albion with Craig Dawson and Jay Rodriguez in their sights.

The Clarets are looking for reinforcements as they prepare for a Europa League campaign and have identified the Baggies pair as their top targets.

Both Dawson and Rodriguez are likely to follow Jonny Evans out of the Hawthorns exit door after the Midlands club were relegated to the Championship, while Solomon Rondon has also been linked with a move away with Newcastle United in the running to secure his services.

Dawson has played one hundred and eighty times for West Brom over seven seasons, scoring twelve goals while Rodriguez – who began his career at Turf Moor – scored eleven goals in his one and only campaign with the Midlands outfit.

After their heroics during the 2017/18 season, Burnley can be backed at 3/1 to finish in the top half next term.
