FC Parma, who failed to maintain their spot in the Serie A this season, have attracted Luigi Cagni as new head coach.

Cagni replaces Argentinian Héctor Cúper, who left the team after the side’s dissapointing performance in the Italian league.

The signing comes as a bit of a surprise though, as Cagni couldn’t avoid relegation with his team Empoli either.

Parma will be playing in the Serie B for the first time in eightteen years.
