Cancelo arrives for Juventus medical

As reported by the club’s social media account, Juventus‘ pursuit of Joao Cancelo is almost complete as the right back/winger has arrived for his medical with the Champions of Italy. Juve are hardly interested in hiding the fact that he’s heading to the club, posting up images of him taking selfies with fans en-route to the medical. The Old Lady also did the same thing for Emre Can, too, who sealed his move from Liverpool earlier this month.

The 24-year-old has been a hot commodity for quite some time now, with this move being in the pipeline ever since the start of the summer. Cancelo spent three years with Spanish club Valencia where he continued to improve on the reputation he’d created for himself with Benfica, before spending last season on loan at Inter Milan.

Cancelo was included in Portugal’s preliminary squad for this year’s World Cup, but didn’t make the final cut.
