Cantwell set to stay at Norwich

According to a recent report from Sky Sports, Norwich City expect Todd Cantwell to stay at Carrow Road as the transfer deadline looms.

Clubs will be unable to try and sign Cantwell from tomorrow onwards, but with Leeds United being in the hunt, many felt as if they could try and make a late play to sign the youngster.

He currently has two years left on his current contract with the Canaries but Norwich have not yet received any official offers. Cantwell enjoyed a handful of bright moments during the club’s Premier League voyage last season and many felt as if he was destined to leave, avoiding another season of Championship football in the process.

Either Cantwell wants to remain loyal to the club that helped to put him on the map or nobody is willing to pay the kind of money that Norwich City have been demanding lately.
