There is no shortage of interest for Real Sociedad star Carlos Vela, who has already rejected several proposals this summer already.

The La Liga side consider Carlos Vela as a key member of the Txuri Urdin side but the former Arsenal man could still be set to leave Real Sociedad after five years in the club.

According to the reports coming from the Spanish side Diario AS, the 28-year-old Mexico international is closing on an MLS move.

The Real Sociedad management is said to have been involved in negotiations with an American side believed to be LA Galaxy who are poised to grab the Mexican star as the marquee signing this summer.

The La Liga side are attempting to negotiate a deal that would see Vela remain on loan at Anoeta until January 2018 and move across the pond during the winter transfer market. Real Sociedad are also expected to issue a public statement regarding the future of Carlos Vela in the forthcoming days.

Carlos Vela has thus far played 171 La Liga games for Real Sociedad, scoring 53 goals in the top flight during that time.
