Cavani frustrated at PSG

As reported by L’Equipe, Edinson Cavani is said to be growing increasingly frustrated with his position at Paris Saint-Germain as the problems at the club continue to mount. The forward left their game at the weekend on his own prior to taking part in the lap of honour with his teammates, after being substituted in favour of the spotlight shining on Mbappe and Neymar.

Cavani was heavily linked with a move to Real Madrid back in the summer but nothing ever really materialised from that, although if these reports are true, then there’s a good chance that he could be looking for somewhere new once the January transfer window rolls around.

The Uruguayan has been a force to be reckoned with both in Europe and internationally for years now, but it still doesn’t seem as if he’s getting the credit he deserves with PSG. Given that many of their top stars are said to be on the verge of leaving, this doesn’t seem to be a positive development at all for the champions.
