Celtic’s Burke discusses his future

“It’s a little bit out of my hands. Obviously, I’m a West Brom player but I’m here at Celtic and that is my main focus right now. I’m playing for Celtic and I will continue doing that until whatever happens next.”

Those are the words of Oliver Burke, who confirmed during a recent interview with BBC Sport that he’ll be waiting until the end of the season to see what the future has in store for him. The 21 year old has been on the rise for quite some time now, starting off with his tenure at Nottingham Forest. He went on to enjoy a successful spell with RB Leipzig, before then joining West Bromwich Albion.

His performances for Celtic this season, where he is currently out on loan, have certainly helped to force him straight back into the spotlight. Given his age it seems like he could go on to be quite the superstar in European football, which could make him a real talisman for his homeland of Scotland.
