Chelsea don’t want to sell Abraham

According to a report from Sky Sports, Chelsea are not said to be interested in selling Tammy Abraham. The young forward hasn’t really been able to make much of an impression with the Blues in the senior squad, but with Aston Villa, he’s been an absolute revelation.

The 21 year old has undoubtedly been the brightest spark for the Midlands club this season, helping to push them towards a play off race that seemed unlikely earlier on this season.

The Englishman has been attracting the attention of Wolverhampton Wanderers in recent days, which is likely why Chelsea have felt the need to let their stance be known on the matter.

Even if they were interested in selling him, though, it’d be intriguing to see how the logistics of the deal would work out given that Aston Villa would be extremely reluctant to sell him – especially to one of their local rivals.
