Chelsea get Haaland green light?

According to a recent report from Bild, Chelsea owner Roman Abramovich has approved of a move to try and sign Erling Haaland.

The 20-year-old’s price is set to drop down to around £66 million by the time we hit summer 2022. However, he’d also be available for around £100 million this summer, which is the kind of money that only a handful of clubs can afford.

Given how happy the Blues have been to spend big in the past, it only makes sense for them to pursue such a deal – especially with Haaland just going from strength to strength with each and every passing day.

The young Norwegian is widely expected to leave Borussia Dortmund at some point in the near future, but when that will actually be is anyone’s guess. For now all he can do is continue to bang in goals on a weekly basis – which we’re pretty sure he won’t struggle with.
