Chelsea go after Dembele

According to a recent report from The Athletic, Chelsea are set to focus their attention on signing Lyon forward Moussa Dembele once the summer transfer window opens – whenever that may be.

While there may be a great deal of uncertainty right now surrounding the future of all domestic leagues across world football, a lot of clubs have already started to think about what they could do to improve their respective squads during the transfer window. While Chelsea don’t necessarily have the most extreme of issues from an attacking perspective, it couldn’t hurt to add another option of real value to their ranks.

The Blues failed to bring Dembele to Stamford Bridge during the January transfer window, but with Frank Lampard seemingly being incredibly eager to bring in a few more fresh faces, there’s a decent chance that Dembele is going to be Chelsea’s number one priority when we get around to the transfer window.
