Chelsea go after Fekir?

According to L’Equipe, Chelsea have hired Pini Zahavi with the aim of making contact with Nabil Fekir’s representatives. The 25 year old came incredibly close to signing for Liverpool during the summer before the deal fell apart, and now, if he is going to end up in the Premier League, it’ll likely be at Stamford Bridge.

Fekir has been with Lyon as a professional since 2013, although he first joined the youth setup way back in 2005. While he clearly has an emotional attachment to the club, he seems to be ready to move on to bigger and better things.

The French international played the final nine minutes of the 2018 FIFA World Cup final, and while that wasn’t exactly much of a cameo, he’ll forever go down in the history books as a world champion.

Despite not being the tallest of players in the world, Fekir is still very highly regarded as a future star across European football.
