Chelsea not pursuing Tielemans

According to a recent report from Fabrizio Romano, Chelsea are not currently pursuing negotiations with Leicester star Youri Tielemans.

Recent reports have indicated that Chelsea, in addition to some of their other targets, are interested in going after Youri Tielemans.

However, as per Romano, that isn’t the case, with the January transfer window likely to be spent focusing on other potential assets.

The Belgian is perhaps best known for his world class FA Cup final goal last year which, ironically enough, came against the Blues.

Graham Potter clearly wants to make his mark at Stamford Bridge and up to this point, he hasn’t had much time to do that. Alas, January is a wonderful month for elite level football clubs as they attempt to reignite any lost spark and push on until May.

Tielemans, though, will remain with the Foxes for the time being as they hope to surge back up the table.
