Chelsea ready for Lukaku push

According to a recent report from Sky Sports, Chelsea are willing to pay Inter Milan €110 million for the signing of Romelu Lukaku.

It would be a straight figure with no added players involved in the move, although other formats for how to structure the deal have been discussed between the involved parties.

The value Inter set for him was thought to be around €120 million so there could perhaps be some kind of compromise made, ending with them arriving at a €115 million fee.

The big Belgian has supposedly instructed the Italian champions to push through with this deal, and while it may seem like a strange move, Lukaku clearly wants to rectify the opinion that was formed of him during his stint at Stamford Bridge.

Given his previous record in the Premier League, we’d say he is on track to become a real force in English football once again if it all goes through as planned.
