According to a recent report from Sky Sports, Chelsea are interested in making a move to try and sign Brighton star Moises Caicedo.
One man who knows a thing or two about the 20-year-old star from Ecuador is none other than Graham Potter, the man who helped bring Caicedo to the forefront on the south coast.
He’s only played just over a dozen games for the Seagulls thus far but he’s seen as a potential superstar at the Premier League level, and Potter clearly wants to try and tap into that.
The youngster may be hesitant about how much time he’d get in the first team upon going to Stamford Bridge but beyond that, you’d have to think there’s intrigue behind going to a team that is consistently playing in the Champions League.
Either way, this feels like a move that could be talked about even further heading into the January window.
