Chelsea to sign Kalidou Koulibaly from Napoli

Chelsea are set to sign Kalidou Koulibaly from Napoli in the summer transfer window, according to 90min. The report has claimed that Premier League giants Chelsea have reached an agreement with Italian outfit Napoli over a move for the 31-year-old Senegal international central defender this summer.

Former Premier League and UEFA Champions League winners Chelsea will pay Napoli €40 million in transfer fees for Koulibaly. The defender will travel to England to complete a medical bafore making the switch to the Blues.

Koulibaly has been on the books of Napoli since 2014 and is out of contract at the Italian club next summer. The 31-year-old has established himself as one of the best defenders in Serie A and has experience of playing in the UEFA Champions League as well.
