Chelsea want to sell Arrizabalaga

According to a recent report from ESPN, Chelsea have made the decision that they will aim to sell Kepa Arrizabalaga during the January transfer window.

The controversial goalkeeper has been on a downward trajectory for quite some time now, and it seems inevitable that he is going to leave. For whatever reason the Blues haven’t been able to find the right deal that would facilitate a sale up to this point but now, they’ve got their eyes set on January.

Edouard Mendy has been able to step in as the main man between the posts at Stamford Bridge over the course of the last few months, and while Kepa is certainly talented, it just doesn’t feel like there’s any chance of him getting his job back.

Where he’s going to go is anyone’s guess but there’s surely going to be no shortage of clubs who will be lining up to put in a bid.
