According to a recent report from AS, Chelsea are reportedly ready and willing to sell midfielder N’Golo Kante in the next window with Real Madrid being one of the main interested parties.
The Frenchman has been viewed as one of the best midfielders in world football over the course of the last few years, but based on this report, Chelsea boss Frank Lampard isn’t 100% committed to keeping him on the books.
Logically speaking a club like Real would be willing to offer some big money for a player as influential as Kante, but again, there’s no confirmation one way or the other just yet that this is the direction they want to go in.
The former Leicester star was believed to be integral to both Leicester and Chelsea winning their most recent league titles, but in the last few years, it seems as if his overall value has been reduced.
