City could seal Balotelli deal

(GSM) – Mario Balotelli could join Manchester City if they are ready to spend big money for him, according to his agent.

City boss Roberto Mancini still holds Balotelli close to his heart since the time he was in charge of Internazionale. The striker’s representative Mino Raiola has not denied a move.

“Who knows? Maybe Jose Mourinho will convince Florentino Perez to offer €70 million,” agent Raiola said.

“In any case, he is worth a lot more than the €40 million talked about so far.

“A reunion with Mancini would be nice, but I don’t think a player chooses his club purely for that kind of sentimental attachment to a coach. What we do need to see is if City present an offer and are willing to spend the money Inter are asking for.

“As of yesterday, I spoke to the club and nobody told me anything about a potential sale.”
