Coman rules out Arsenal switch

In an interview with Sport1, Bayern Munich youngster Kingsley Coman has denied that he has held talks with Arsenal – claiming that he wants to stay with the German giants for many more years to come. The 22-year-old recently extended his contract in a move that would keep him at the club until 2023, but only now will the rumours likely be put to bed.

New Arsenal boss Unai Emery hasn’t been shy in going after the players he really wants in the summer transfer window, but regardless of whether or not this is an accurate story, it seems as if this would be a step too far for the Gunners.

Ousmane Dembele is another big name who Arsenal are said to be interested in acquiring, but the whispers of his potential move have slowly fizzled out over the last few weeks. The Gunners will be aiming to put together the best squad possible ahead of their blockbuster Premier League opener against Manchester City.
