Conte to Old Trafford?

According to Corriere dello Sport, former Chelsea manager Antonio Conte could soon make the switch over to Manchester United in what would be viewed as one of the more shocking moves in the world of management. Juventus general manager Guiseppe Marotta has been heavily linked with a role at United as their sporting director, and one of his primary incentives could be bringing Conte over to the club with him.

It’s no secret that Jose Mourinho and Antonio Conte have never been the best of friends, and this would serve as another fascinating instalment in their rivalry if Conte wound up replacing the Portuguese star.

Conte is still considered to be one of the top managers in European football despite his sour end to life at Stamford Bridge, and while it would take some getting used to, the majority of United fans would likely welcome the idea of something different.
