Coutinho suggests Firmino to Barca?

According to reports in Spain, Barcelona star Philippe Coutinho has suggested that the Spanish giants try and sign Roberto Firmino from Liverpool. The ex-Reds star will certainly be upsetting some of his former fans if this proves to be the case, and ironically enough, Firmino would be signed in order to replace Luis Suarez who is likely entering the final few years of his time at the top of the game.

Barca are said to be impressed with the pressing and work ethic of Firmino, who has come on leaps and bounds under the guidance of Jurgen Klopp. On the opposite side, Coutinho has been thriving at the Nou Camp following an initially slow start to life with the club.

If this trend continues then there’s a good chance that Barca could eventually inquire about Mohamed Salah, who continues to impress as one of the Premier League’s finest players in a long time.
