Darmian misses Italy

According to La Gazzetta dello Sport, Matteo Darmian misses life back in Italy. The Manchester United defender has been at Old Trafford since back in 2015, when he made the switch from Torino. The 29 year old started off his youth career with AC Milan and even turned professional for them, before a one year stint with Palermo and then a four year run with Torino – where he was considered to be one of their biggest and best stars of recent years.

Ironically enough, though, AC aren’t one of the primary Italian teams believed to be interested in signing him. Napoli, Roma, Juventus and Inter Milan have all been heavily rumoured with a move for Darmian, and every single one of those would make sense for him. If he’s serious about how much he misses Italy then it seems like only a matter of time before he moves, because while you can fix a lot of things in this game, you can rarely fix being unhappy where you’re playing.
