de Ligt to Barcelona hits stumbling block?

According to a recent report from Mundo Deportivo, there is one major stumbling block in Barcelona’s attempts to sign Matthijs de Ligt – and that stumbling block goes by the name of Mino Raiola. The notable agent has been known to be a little bit stubborn, to the point where many pundits feel like he intentionally tries to make all transfer stories about himself above everyone else. Raiola is believed to be demanding more than £8 million in commission fees for a deal involving de Ligt, which seems like a figure that could be a bit too much for the Spanish giants.

Frenkie de Jong’s move to the Nou Camp was recently confirmed, and in a lot of ways, that move could prove to be the catalyst behind de Ligt also jumping ship to Barca.

For now, though, the negotiations will continue as the La Liga leaders attempt to wear Raiola down.
