Draxler considered Premier League switch

According to a recent report from Bild, Julian Draxler has admitted that he considered a move over to the Premier League this summer.

The Paris Saint-Germain star is known for being an incredibly well-rounded midfielder, and for a short period, it genuinely seemed as if he was on the verge of making a move over to Yorkshire to join Leeds United.

Alas, the 27-year-old wound up staying in the French capital, as he continues to try and help guide PSG to that elusive European title.

He was brought on in the 72nd minute of the 2020 UEFA Champions League Final against Bayern Munich but was unable to make the necessary impact as Bayern edged out a 1-0 win.

Draxler has the potential to thrive wherever he goes across Europe and beyond and if he is still interested in working with Bielsa by the time next season comes around, or perhaps even January, then Leeds fans could be in luck.
