Dybala set to stay at Juventus

According to a recent report from Sky Italy, Italian champions Juventus are not willing to sell Paulo Dybala without having a suitable replacement waiting in the wings – and with the summer transfer window closing imminently, that means it seems incredibly unlikely that Tottenham Hotspur will be able to get this signing over the finish line.

Mauro Icardi is one name that Juve are actively pursuing, but when it comes to Spurs, a deal almost certainly looks dead in the water now as they are no longer going after Dybala.

One of the biggest question marks now surrounds Spurs themselves, as they continue to try and bring in a high level, elite striker. Mauricio Pochettino has made his lack of control in the transfer window pretty evident, and now, fans just need to hope that he can pull a rabbit out of the hat.

It doesn’t seem massively likely, but such is the nature of this cruel game we all know and love.
