FC Dynamo Kyiv midfielder Oleh Gusev faces up to five months on the sidelines after damaging cruciate ligaments in his right knee during Saturday’s 3-0 league victory against SC Tavriya Simferopol.
The 24-year-old will undergo surgery in Switzerland, having left the field on a stretcher. With five matches to go, Dynamo are top in Ukraine, two points clear of FC Shakhtar Donetsk who have a game in hand.
