Erik ten Hag and Xavi Hernandez complain over controversial refereeing decisions as Barcelona and Manchester United draw in the Europa League clash (Video)

Barcelona and Manchester United played a thrilling 2-2 draw at the Camp Nou in the first leg of their encounter in the Europa League knockout stage play-offs, with Marcos Alonso and Raphinha on target for the Catalans, while Marcus Rashford scored for United before Barca defender Jules Kounde accidentally put the ball in his own net.

Both managers had something to say about the officiating in this match.

Barca’s Xavi Hernandez was unhappy about his team not being awarded a penalty when Fred appeared to have handled the ball inside the box.

Meanwhile, United’s Erik ten Hag believes a foul on Rashford, not given at all, warranted a red card for the offending Barcelona player.
