Eriksen to Man United deal off

According to a recent report from Sky Sports News, Manchester United are no longer in negotiations with Tottenham Hotspur over the proposed signing of Christian Eriksen. The belief is that the Spurs midfielder has his heart set on a potential move to Real Madrid, which is the move that many Spurs fans have been expecting to happen for well over a year now.

Zinedine Zidane reportedly hasn’t been all too eager to pull the trigger on a move for the Danish international, despite the fact that he continues to be one of the most consistent players in the entire Premier League.

Eriksen admitted earlier on in the summer transfer window that he wants to try out something new, but at the same time, he made it clear that he is open to the idea of a new Tottenham deal if he stays at the club.

Either way, it doesn’t seem like this is going to be resolved before tomorrow’s deadline.
