Eriksen to stay at Inter Milan?

According to a recent report from Corriere dello Sport, Inter Milan midfielder Christian Eriksen will not be leaving this month.

While there had been a great deal of speculation that the Dane would depart during the January transfer window, the aforementioned report indicates that he has convinced Antonio Conte to keep him on the books for the time being.

Eriksen clearly still hasn’t had the best of times at the San Siro but between his winner in the derby and his determination to improve, it makes a lot of sense for Inter to give him another crack at success.

If nothing else he is the kind of player who has the ability to pull a rabbit out of the hat when you’re least expecting it, and that is the kind of weapon that should be viewed as a powerful asset – especially when you’re a title contender like Inter are right now.
