Everton deny Nasri rumours

Everton senior officials have told the Liverpool Echo that there is no truth to the rumours that they are interested in signing Samir Nasri on a free transfer. The Frenchman has been without a club since leaving Antalyaspor earlier this year, with the claim being that Marco Silva was considering the possibility of the move. Nasri is set to complete a drugs ban next month, which is likely one of the big reasons as to why no major clubs have been attempting to sign him.

It has certainly been quite the fall from grace for Nasri as of late, but in all honesty, many fans feel as if he’s brought it on himself. Regardless of whether or not you fit into that category, though, there’s no denying that he still has a great deal of talent, and at the age of 31 there’s probably a good chance that he could do a job in the top flight.
